Going into the new year

By Megan

Hey friends, family & missions partners,

Hey friends, family & missions partners, We pray you all are well and had a lovely holiday season! Jacob and I wanted to send you a short newsletter/update!

Since our last newsletter we have traveled to Minnesota. Here we have been able to spend time with Jacob’s family and friends. We have reunited with many of you and realize how richly blessed we are in our relationships. Thank you for extending your partnership to us.

Partnership Development & Prayer Requests

We have been hard at work with the partnership development part of our ministry, working towards the goal of being fully-funded. Since being home we have seen nearly a doubling of  our monthly financial partnership with over 13 new financial partners and many more prayer partners. We are so grateful and are in faith still seeking our goal to be financially sustainable for long term missions. We still have a ways to go to reach the goal the Lord has set on our hearts for being full time sustainable missionaries. We invite you and ask for your prayers for us that in these last few weeks we would see the fullness of God's provision for us. Another large prayer request is that we would love to be in partnership with a church. A great church in NC has come alongside us in prayer, missional care, and a one time financial gift. We are praying that the partnership will continue and grow from there. It is so important to us to have a church that is really supporting us, but it has been a challenge so far in our personal ministry.

Missions Campus Updates

In other news, our mission campus in Paris has just sent out 14 students & missionary staff into the nations for 3 months to make the name of Jesus known. With that, a new missionary training school has just started! There are 28 new students that are dedicating 6 months to serve the Lord by learning and serving as a missionary. They will be learning & applying teaching about God's character, intercessory prayer, evangelism and so much more. A local ministry that Jacob and I serve in called Connect Community is kicking off again after the holidays here and we are excited to get back and engage. This is a ministry that teaches locals in our area English and brings people together for community and relationship! After English classes, there is an optional Bible study for whoever wants to stay. It has been amazing to see this ministry grow over time and see people feel safe and heard in a loving faith-filled community! We have actually seen several muslims join the Bible studies and are grateful for the opportunity to witness to them.

Traveling back to France

We have just about three and a half weeks until we head back to France. We are looking forward to being able to go back to our home and ministry work there but know it will be challenging to say goodbye to friends and family in the states again. A small but exciting update for us is that when we go back to France we have been offered to move into a slightly larger apartment across the hall from where we live now, that is a huge blessing for us.

Blessings,

Megan & Jacob
