A Time of Development

By Jacob

Hey Friends & Missions Partners, here is a brief newsletter update. We are currently in the United States staying in Kentucky with Megan’s family, and we’ll visit my family in Minnesota as well before returning to France. While we are home we are doing many things to prepare for being in France as long term missionaries. We have a few priorities for our time here.

Fundraising partnership development missionary ministry

Partnership development is one of these priorities and is actually a big part of the ministry work we do as full time missionaries. It is truly a blessing to see God’s provision for us through so many friends and family. We are grateful to have partners who make our missional calling a vocation. We are so happy to develop these relationships while in the U.S. by communicating with current and future supporters — sending emails and letters, making phone calls, meeting with churches, and much more.

We are dedicating time to expand our partnership team so that we can continue in ministry sustainably and go for all that God has set on our heart!

Jacob & Noah at Noah’s wedding!

We kicked off our time back in the U.S. a few weeks ago, spending a few days in Minnesota for my cousin Noah’s wedding. It was such a blessing to see so many people gathered together for a great celebration of God’s goodness in the lives of my cousin and his wife. I was really grateful to be a part of the wedding party, to be there for Noah during this time, and to share memories while looking forward to his exciting future as a husband.

Youth With a Mission Paris Connect Campus News

Our training team has been hard at work running a missions school recently. The students have been learning about the nature and character of God, the Holy Spirit, worship and prayer, and so much more. This school will go on three months of outreach missionary work into some exciting nations across Europe and the Middle East in December.

Recently at our missions campus in France there was a missions training seminar for locals, making God known and offering our neighbors an opportunity to learn and experience more in a missions community. Participants learned and practiced evangelism in the city. The seminar ended with a 24-hour worship and prayer time for the nation of France, where many local churches and worship movements joined to pray for this nation that needs more of Jesus.

Part of the ministry Megan works with, the communications team, just released a new website for the Campus as well. Check it out https://www.ywamparisconnect.com. Many photos, videos, and content used on this website come from Megan’s hard work as part of the communications team.

Thank you all for following along on our journey we are so grateful for each of you. God bless,

Megan & Jacob

P.S. Also felt like sharing an encouraging verse with you all.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
— John 16:33
