Although the largest religion in France is defined as culturally Christian, most of these people have never experienced authentic contact with the Gospel and relationship with God.
Only 8% of people in all of France regularly attend church, but over 50 million people have no link to church, and over 80% have never had contact with a Bible. Over 30% of the population of France is made up of unreached people groups many of which can be found in Aubervilliers. Paris is a city defined by secularism and emerging culture, many people are closed off to Jesus. There are a large number of atheists in Paris and the city is rampant with hopelessness. Many, especially young people, are searching for truth and purpose. Paris needs a Savior and a Biblical worldview as it is an influential city that impacts world change. We believe that what we do here is breaking the ground for God to continue to move in this city and bring people back into his Kingdom.

We currently rent a very small studio apartment.
We live in an inner-city area that is largely Muslim and populated by refugees, immigrants, and people from many “3rd world nations". Over 45% of the population is an immigrant and over 60% of nations of the world are here in our neighborhood.
There is many broken car windows and visible signs of a struggling community. Where we live is not a considered a safe or comfortable place to live. Our area is in desperate need of Jesus and we know God has placed us here for a reason.

By partnering with us in missions :)
We need partners to support us in prayer, advocacy, and finances. We believe in prayer and know that we need it. Prayer is contending for us in our needs, desires, and for our ministry. We also pray for our partners as a way to bless to those who support us. Advocacy is support for or recommendation of us to family, friends, co-workers, and fellow church members. We would love your recommendation of us to others because we know growing a wider group of partners will help our ministry, impact, and monthly support grow. Financial support is what keeps us in missions and is necessary for us if we are to continue on the path that God has set before us. It is an opportunity to engage with the Great Commission by partnering with us there becoming fellow workers in the Faith.
"For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth." 3 John 1:7-8

We live entirely on donations from family, friends, and other partners.
Youth With A Mission is called to value and practice a life of dependence on God for financial provision. Practically, this provision comes primarily from those who believe in us and what we’re doing. We offer our time and gifts to serve God and others knowing there is no financial compensation for the work we do. This gives us the perspective of gratitude and results in constant testimonies of God’s ongoing faithfulness towards us. It is truly a privilege and honor to be a missionary. We are thankful that God provides and uses us for His Kingdom.

Recurring monthly Tax deductible donations are the best option for us

We live debt free and spend according to a monthly budget that we have prayed over.
We always spend first for things that are necessary like rent, food, phone service, toiletries, insurance, transportation, tithe, etc. We then budget for savings to help us plan for the future and for desired expenses, like going on dates, hospitality, and gym memberships. We are in need of more monthly partners so we budget for and pay for other bigger expenses like flights, visas, and other larger expenses that come up. Our budget is available upon request.

We both strongly felt called by God to YWAM Paris specifically.
We believe in and love the heart and history of YWAM, the foundational values and the way it empowers young people to serve God and boldly share the Gospel in every place God may call them. YWAM puts a great importance on pursuing right relationship with God and others, which we have a heart for ourselves. We have seen how living in this community that focuses on discipleship has transformed our own lives. We want that same fervor for God and the Great Commission to be lived out by others.
We greatly value and honor the work of missionaries serving with other organizations around the world and all those who have gone before us. We are confident in our call to YWAM Paris Connect, God has sent us here for such a time as this.

We would love to have a multi-bedroom home so that we can be more hospitable and have a family in the future.
We also want to be able to have our families and friends visit and stay with us in this future home.
Megan is a great photographer and likes to use her skill for ministry and for fun in free time. She needs — and would love to have — more lenses for her camera so she can take different types of photos as currently she is very limited by her Lens.
Jacob would like to make investments for the future, and own property.
