Preaching the Gospel in Paris
Who We Are
-
I’m a missionary in the Paris area with my husband, Jacob. My heart is for the discipleship of believers to know their identity and to mature into active Christians who use their faith to make a difference.
I'm a photographer, media creator, editor, and leader. I love photography and spending quality time with my husband. I live by the value of communicating with integrity and have a heart to cultivate a sustainable missionary community. I enjoy living in an active Christian community that is always pushing me to grow.
I have served in missions for over five years now after completing a missions school (DTS) in 2019. I also completed a French language school in 2021 and a Bible school in 2022.
I am grateful to have a life where I can serve God wholeheartedly and engage in my passions while also reaching out to those who don’t know Jesus.

My name is Jacob and I am following Jesus to the best of my ability. I’m a missionary in the Paris area with my wife, Megan. My heart is to live my life as an image bearer of Christ to those around me and to fill the gap wherever I can by serving my community. I want to help those who feel lost in the world to find their way back to their savior, Jesus.
I enjoy my role of leading and managing projects and people during practical day-to-day tasks around our campus, while at the same time serving and growing our community through ministry as well. I like playing board games and being active in sports. I love learning new things and do whatever it takes to get the job done, and I’m blessed to use my abilities to contribute to the Kingdom of God.
I completed an associate degree in 2021 and then a missions school and Bible school in 2022, and ever since have been unashamedly serving God.
Our Mission Statement
To encourage and disciple believers in their relationship with God and others, and to bring the Gospel to those who do not yet know Jesus.
What We Do and
Where We Are
We are full-time missionaries with Youth with a Mission (YWAM), a global missions movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Our goal is to fulfill the great commission through reaching the lost.
YWAM began in 1960 and focuses on reaching the nations through evangelism, ministry, and training, with a focus on activating youth to follow God. YWAM currently has approximately 30,000 staff from nearly every country, spread out in around nearly 1,200 locations worldwide.
Did you know that over 30% of the population of France is made up of unreached people groups and over 80% of the population have never had contact with a Bible.
We are part of YWAM Paris Connect (YPC) in Aubervilliers, France, just outside of Paris. God has strategically placed our campus in this neighborhood. It is an extremely diverse suburb with 60% of the world’s nations represented here in our small neighborhood, talk about opportunity to share about Jesus! Our campus has about 45 full-time staff and 20-80 students, depending on the schools that are running. The YPC slogan is: Activate Your Faith. Proclaim Jesus. Transform Cities.
At YPC, Megan serves on the Communications Team, creating media which aids in sharing the Gospel, supporting events, activating youth into missions and more. Jacob serves by leading the Operations team, which maintains the YWAM campus, and provides hospitality for visiting guests and missionaries. He also provides logistical support for the function of the campus and its events and is doing teaching.
Megan and Jacob also serve on the connect ministry team helping facilitate weekly Bible studies for locals in the neighborhood and beyond.
Along with the entire YPC team, we both participate in:
Evangelism (street, open-air worship, preaching the gospel, etc)
Training (hosting Bible studies with residents in surrounding communities, training for missionaries, seminars, discipleship and mentoring of others)
Mercy ministry (home building, homeless ministry, food distribtuion aid, and bless people in local communities)
Hospitality (using gifts God has given us to bless others)
Serving Food at homeless Ministry
Building houses during Ukraine War
