The Sound of Worship
Jacob works as part of the sound team during worship in the new ministry building.
These past weeks Jacob has been hard at work installing a sound treatment plan he made for the new auditorium at our campus and he is finishing up the project! He constructed sound panels on all the different walls and It has massively improved the auditorium as before it was super echoey and now it sounds much better. The project was a big success!
Jacob and Benson install sound panels to improve sound in the new auditorium.
Supporting Communications
For me, I have been working on social media, photos for the campus for different events we host, and other side projects that aid our website and future events.
I have been enjoying working on the communications team. It’s something I really enjoy doing and I am happy that it can assist in what we do here in missions and reaching out to more people.
New Outreach
Jacob and I are going to be joining into more local ministry starting this week as well.
There is a new ministry officially launching at our campus called Community Connect. It mixes education with our local community through language learning, practical life skills, and community fun so that we can provide discipleship, bible studies, and positive Christian role models to our neighborhood and extended community.
We will be working with the community to build relationships with locals and also offer Bible study for those wanting more with their relationship with God. The last few months Jacob was already involved with a local Bible study and they saw great success with relationships and growth of the study, and even had the opportunity to share with non-Christians who attended a bible study for the first time. We are excited to see what this ministry becomes in the next few months!
