Hey everyone, hope y’all are doing well!
This past week Jacob has been working on increasing the security around our campus with new cameras. With our campus becoming a public building and the increase of people coming and going this summer with our Paris Je T’aime summer outreach it is good to make sure everything and everyone is kept safe and secure. We also have many support staff coming to help prepare for the outreach so Jacob has been preparing different projects and getting the materials together for them.
I’m continuing to work on social media projects to share about Jesus and what we are doing here to train people to go to the nations. I worked on this flyer for our summer outreach kickoff event and it just got printed (picture below).

A couple weeks ago we also had our last local ministry time before we have a small break in the English ministry and Bible studies. We celebrated by having an international food tasting together. We asked students to bring something from their culture to share with others. It was great to celebrate each culture as the students shared about where they came from.
Brief rest and celebration
This last week Jacob and I went to Austria! It was a birthday gift that I had been planning for him for about 8 months. I was able to save up finances for the trip by selling some of our clothes and saving some Christmas and birthday money!
We went mainly for an event called Crankworx, which is a mountain biking event that has a world tour each year. It has some of the best professional mountain bikers competing. It was a really lovely time there and it was actually very refreshing because we were surrounded by mountains the entire time! We are both really happy to have been able to go on this trip.
Prayer needs
Please pray for us as Jacob and I got sick as we were traveling back from the trip, with a sore throat, congestion and headaches. He is already much better, which is good.
Also we would love continued prayer for our visas. The situation this year in our renewal process has been incredibly slow. Jacob applied for his renewal last July, so as of right now it has almost been a year since we have heard anything. I have been waiting for 10 months myself on my new visa.
